SWEDISH DJ, AVICII, PASSES AWAY AT AGE 28

Tim Berling, also known as Avicii, has passed away at 28. The Grammy-nominated artist was known worldwide for hit songs like “Wake Me Up” and “Lonely Together”. Avicii sold-out arenas all over the world and had a successful career in pop music. He was also known as a pioneer of the Electronic Dance Movement.

Avicii was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday, April 20, 2018. You can read a statement from his publicist below:

“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii. He was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th. The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given.”
