DIPLO PRESENTS THOMAS WESLEY PREMIERES “SO LONG” VIDEO FEATURING CAM AND FOOTAGE FROM STAGECOACH
Thomas Wesley, the new country project from Diplo, premieres the video for first track “So Long” today. Directed by frequent collaborator Brandon Dermer (What Would Diplo Do?, “Look Back,” Major Lazer’s “Scare Me”), the new video stars Diplo at his first-of-its-kind Stagecoach set and Nashville’s Cam who features on the track, as well as cameos from Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus, Georgia born singer-songwriter Sam Hunt, American restauranteur and television personality Guy Fieri and country legend Dwight Yoakam. “So Long” is one of several forthcoming collaborations with country artists, a first for Diplo.
Diplo’s performance at Stagecoach’s first ever Stagecoach Late Night saw the producer welcome Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus for the live debut of “Old Town Road.” Following the performance, Diplo shared his remix of the viral hit which Rolling Stone calls “heart-racing”.
