ELLA MAI AT SHOWBOX SODO IN SEATTLE, WA

Ella Mai has been taking the R&B world by storm and finally released a headlining tour in America, with a stop in Seattle, Washington. Lucky for us, Washingtonians, we were able to spend our Valentine’s Day with Queen Mai. As soon as the lights dimmed, fans chanted Ella’s name in anticipation until she bounced out on stage with an infectious smile. After Ella stepped foot on stage the energy did not stop till she left. Although Mai had no planned choreography, she was quick to do quirky little dances with fans and her backup singers while she somehow managed to hit every note perfectly, not skipping a beat.  Ella was accompanied by a full band and 2 backup singers throughout her entire performance who really helped to bring Ella’s show to the next level. One could only tell that Ella has a thick accent when she started to engage with the crowd and ask how everyone’s Valentine’s Day was going. Ella would introduce and dedicate her songs to people who either broke her heart or filled it with love, which was a somber and sincere reminder of how relationships can affect a person. Ella made it easy to engage and connect with her the entire concert, and if it were up to us, we’d spend every Valentine’s Day with Ella.
