FIT FOR A KING AT THE WEBSTER IN HARTFORD, CT
Fit For A King hit Hartford, CT earlier this month at the end of their support on August Burns Red’s “The Dangerous Tour”. The first time I saw Fit For A King was back when they were on tour with Beartooth in 2016 and I remember being impressed by them live even then. I didn’t think their live performance could get even better but they amazed me with this show. After seeing them then, they’ve always been on my bucket list to photograph. Getting the chance to finally shoot them three years later was so exciting.
Their energy on stage was outstanding, to say the least. They took full advantage of the entire stage and made it clear they’re having a great time playing. The crowd was in awe the entire set. I love seeing that reaction given to the openers just as much as they would give to the headliner. FFAK played songs from their most recent album, Dark Skies, like ‘Shattered Glass’ and ‘The Price of Agony’. They also played older songs like ‘Deathgrip’ and ‘Pissed Off’. I don’t think there was a single song that didn’t have the crowd off their feet. It seemed like there was a never ending wave of crowd surfers throughout the set.
Fit For A King put on an incredible performance and they easily became one of my favorite artists to photograph. It’s been amazing to see how far they’ve come and I can’t wait to see what they do in the future. Keep an eye out for upcoming tours and make sure not to miss them the next time they’re near you!
