JULIA MICHAELS AT NEWPORT MUSIC HALL IN COLUMBUS

Headlining the “Inner Monologue Tour”, GRAMMY-Award nominated Republic Records’ artist, Julia Michaels, brought the highly anticipated debut tour to The Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio for an invitingly unforgettable evening. Before Michaels stepped onto the stage, a banner set the atmosphere for the show claiming the space and evening as a judgment-free zone where singing, dancing, jumping, feeling, and laughing are encouraged.

Michaels found her start in the music industry as a songwriter for pop stars such as Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Gwen Stefani, and many more, as she shaped her career in the process. She received her first GRAMMY-nomination with her first hit single "Issues". Michaels continued to write and collaborate with other artists as she released two EPs titled Inner Monologue Part 1 & Inner Monologue Part 2 this year.

To bring her Inner Monologue EP to life, vibrant lights, on-stage production filled with beautiful light-up flowers, emotion-filled lyrics, and a fascinating performance filled the stage. Michaels’ love for performing shined brightly on stage through a smile that didn’t leave her face. From the beginning of her set, she took moments to smile at those in the front row and the balcony, putting her hands in the shape of a heart and showing her appreciation. The crowd began singing along during the first song “Pink” and matched Michaels' energy throughout the set. Michaels brought all her love for what she is doing to the stage, and it was certainly felt throughout the crowd that she had taken to heart creating a judgment-free space for singing, dancing, jumping, feeling, and laughing.
