PACIFICO UNLEASHES SYNESTHESIA STYLED VIDEO "THE LONELIEST MAN IN THE WORLD"
Indie pop-rock songwriter Matthew Schwartz, also known as Pacifico, has released his newest music video for single, "The Loneliest Man In The World" off his latest album, Everest. While conceptualizing the album, he used a specific skillset of synesthesia to paint a colorful picture of what the sounds appear as. Through this visualizing perspective he utilizes colorful palettes to expose the mood and depiction of the sound the song was exuding. Throughout the video itself, it shows a man stranded on an island which is a metaphor for his own depression. The character tries to escape, but he keeps drowning and returning to the island, showing loose inspiration from the move Swiss Army Man.
An honest expression of Matthew's raw self, Everest is a self-produced collection of twelve catchy indie-rock tracks, filled with themes of life, love, struggles, faith, and the emotions that make up everyone in one way or another. Matthew Schwartz explains further:
"For my new album Everest, I challenged myself to take new strides in the way I wrote music and what I wrote about. This album truly was my highest mountain to climb and I did so alongside many talented and fascinating artistic friends and collaborators. I am so excited to share what we've created with you on Idobi. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it." - Matthew Schwartz a.k.a. Pacifico
