RISE AGAINST AT SOUTHSIDE BALLROOM IN DALLAS
This was my first show back in over a year and that seemed to be the case for a lot of fans at this show tonight. Honestly this was an insane line up and The Menzingers & Degenerates came out playing as if they were headliners for the tour. The crowd was wild from the start and The Menzingers brought such a fun energy to their set that was mesmerizing to watch and shoot. Out came the Degenerates swinging after them and every song was 200% from start to end. I honestly felt winded just watching them and the crowd go. The age gap and how some of the older fans moved in the pit with the younger crowd was so surprising, yet amazing all in the same. Then came Rise Against with their amazing stage set up with mind boggling visuals. This was both my first time seeing them and shooting them and I couldn’t have chosen a better time. They played songs both old and new and the sense of nostalgia came in waves, as did the crowd surfers. I could honestly say they put on a show of the century and this had to be the most memorable one to watch. If you missed it, I would definitely recommend catching everyone on the later dates on the tour. If I could shoot this show all over again I would tenfold.
