RIVALS AT CHEAPSTAKES IN DALLAS
This show was a bit different for me as I had only heard of Rivals before this tour, so most of the time I’ve at least seen or heard some of the artists for the tour. This time, however, was mostly going to be a surprise for me aside from Rivals as I wanted to do it a little differently and just experience it all for the first time. Let me say, I might do this more often.
Grasslands were the first to go on and with it being such a smaller venue it was more personal and they killed it. You had the intimacy of a smaller show, but with main stage at a festival vibes and I couldn’t have asked for more.
Everyone in Aryia have such funny but amazing stage presences. It was almost as if I was watching an SNL skit at times, but then they’d lure you back in with such catchy choruses and vocals.
Rivals came next and I hadn’t seen them live since they played Emo Nite here back in 2018. They’ve come such a long way since then. Watching the differences in performances (both being absolutely spectacular) and the growth in their music was nothing short of amazing. Everyone played with such intensity and Kaile’s vocals and stage presence were nothing short of spectacular.
Up last was Dragged Under and those guys had me feeling like I was back at Warped Tour 2017. I don’t know how I hadn’t heard of them before this but they had the crowd going from start to end and I couldn’t have thought of a better way to cap off this show. So, if you’re debating going to your local date on this tour DO IT!
