THE ACES AT HOUSE OF BLUES IN CHICAGO

The Aces rolled through the Windy City with the help of Sawyer and Beaches to put on an amazing show at the House of Blues. Per usual, Chicago went wild for an amazing show!

Sawyer kicked off the night with an upbeat set. Fans began dancing as the energy from the duo flowed through the room. They played songs such as “The Way My Friends Feel About You” and “Taste”. Their personalities filled the stage as their set went on and the crowd fell in love with them.

The Beaches were next and their sparkle filled the stage (literally, their outfits shined in the lights). The all-female band kicked their set off with a bang by performing “Desdemona”. It was no secret the crowd was in love with them as they cheered them on after each song. Each member wore a unique outfit which showed the personality of the band. They performed songs such as “Fascination”, “Bad Behaviour”, and “Money”. As they danced through the set, so did the crowd. They closed with “Late Show” which made the crowd go wild.

Finally, The Aces graced the crowd with their presence. They opened with “Can You Do” which got the crowd even more pumped up than they already were. The songs that they performed from their previous album were “Stay”, “Volcanic Love”, “Waiting For You”, and “Stuck”. Of course, these songs were full of vibrant energy. About halfway through their set, the stage lit up with colors of the LGBTQ flag and they gave a speech about love. They reassured the crowd that no matter what, they are loved and accepted at every Aces show. The band explained that they come from an area that is not so accepting of people who are not “normal” and that their shows are a safe place. Then, they started playing their song “801” which is about finding solidarity in the “wallflowers” of the world. During “Thought Of You”, Cristal handed roses out to the crowd. Other crowd favorites that they played were “Don’t Freak”, “Lost Angeles”, and “Daydream”.

Overall, the night was one to remember! Whether you want a fun night out with friends, or you just want to hear some good music, check out the “Under My Influence” tour in a city near you. The Aces put on a show that is one for the books!
