THE BAND CAMINO AT OLD FORESTER'S PARISTOWN HALL IN LOUISVILLE
On March 23rd, 2022, The Band Camino kicked off their “The Camino Tour” in Louisville, KY.
With them were Nashville based band Hastings, and Flor hailing from Oregon. Hastings started the night off getting the crowd moving, with their upbeat sound. They took their 30 minutes and did not hold back. They definitely gained some new fans that night, and I hope to see them come back to Louisville soon.
Next Flor had the spotlight. They brought up that this was their first show in 2 years, and its safe to say that Louisville welcomed them back to playing music live with open arms and loud cheers. They rocked the stage for their 45 minute set and even played new songs that were dropped that day! They worked the fans, and I do hope to see them come back through Louisville again so I can get them in front of my lenses.
Finally it was 9 o’clock and it was time for the band that everyone was there to see. Lights shut off, the crowd cheered, and from the back you could hear them doing their pre show huddle, chanting a loud “CAMINO” before taking the stage. I personally did not know what I was in for as I only started listening to the band a few weeks prior, but they came out and they went hard. They were just overall a fun band to watch from crowd interactions with every band member, to their little dance moves, and little feet shuffles. After they played just their second song, there was a solid 5 minutes of nothing but loud roars as the fans were clearly hyped to see the band they have been waiting to see all night. The members stopped and you could see them just taking it all in. Live music is back and Louisville welcomed The Band Camino back with love and loud cheers. It was an experience to witness the energy that was going around in that room. The first leg of this tour is mostly sold out, so if they're coming to you and you’re on the fence about going, be sure to grab those tickets and go! They also just announced a second leg of the tour with different openers happening later this year, so I highly recommend going to one of those shows. I know I will be!
