BAD SUNS AT THE HOUSE OF BLUES IN CHICAGO, IL
The Mystic Truth Tour brought Bad Suns and Carlie Hanson to Chicago in April. Here’s a glimpse of the night!
Opening up the night with a dance party was Carlie Hanson! This energetic performer sang her heart out to an active crowd. The singer-songwriter played songs such as Why Do You Lie?, Toxins, and Numb. The most surprising fact about this Wisconsin native is she’s only 18! With such a strong stage presence and powerhouse vocals, that fact was surprising! Dancing her way around the stage in her shiny silver pants (which were iconic, by the way), she managed to fill the entire room with energy and make the place feel like home. This young talent made a name for herself in Chicago.
Closing out the night was Bad Suns. The band opened the night with Away We Go as the crowd danced the night away. Successfully selling out the show, the Californians gave a fun performance and played classics such as Violet, Transpose, and This Was A Home Once. Bad Suns managed to take the crowd into a world where worries fade away, and that is the experience that every concert goer longs for. Ending the night, the vocalist gave the crowd a surprise by literally standing on the crowd! It was a sight to see and ended up being a moving experience with the end of One Magic Moment playing in the background. Bad Suns truly brought the crowd to the Outskirts of Paradise that night!
