BAYSIDE AT OLD NATIONAL CENTRE IN INDIANAPOLIS
Bayside’s “Interrobang Club Tour” set off on its way across the U.S. with special guests Sincere Engineer, and Battle of the Bands Indianapolis winner, The Day After. What could be a better way to kick off a club-focused tour to promote a new album than by playing a city you haven't been to in several years right next door to your second home? Indy sure showed how much they missed the four piece punk rock band by packing into Old National Centre’s basement on that cold and rainy November night.
Bayside kicked off the night by taking the stage to perform their new single “Interrobang” off their newly released album ‘Interrobang’. Throughout the night Bayside continued to keep the night alive by giving the crowd what they wanted, and playing songs from just about every album in their expansive discography. Songs such as “The Walking Wounded”, “Carry On”, and “Blame It On Bad Luck” moved the room’s dedicated crowd.
Closing out their hour long performance, Bayside played two of their oldest songs, “Just Enough to Love You” and “Devotion and Desire”, which had everybody running and climbing toward the stage just to scream along to every word. It’s shows like this that go to prove that Bayside truly is a cult and will always remain that way. No matter if you’re a late-twenty/thirty year old still blasting their self titled album, or a teen just discovering their newer albums, Bayside puts on a show for everybody to enjoy.
You can catch the band on tour throughout the rest of the year on their Club Tour in a city near you. You definitely won’t want to miss this one!
