BEBE REXHA AT THE FILLMORE IN PHILADELPHIA
The show must go on. Bebe Rexha brought her “Best F*n Night of My Life Tour” to The Fillmore in Philadelphia for a night of non-stop dancing. After an incident at the NYC show where a patron threw a phone at her head, Bebe Rexha found herself in the hospital with a black eye and stitches. Fans were unsure if the show would still be taking place in Philadelphia two days later, but the dedication Bebe has is unmatched, and she announced the show would still be taking place. Fans filled up the floor of the venue gearing up for a fun night out, and boy was it delivered.
Opening up the show was Zolita. She opened up her set with “I F*cking Love You” and had a group of fans on the barricade screaming for her immediately. Delivering flawless vocals, Zolita played through some of the songs from her discography, and also included a really solid cover of “Before He Cheats” by Carrie Underwood. She ended with “Somebody I F*cked Once”, leaving the audience warmed up and ready for our headliner. Definitely be sure to check out Zolita either on the tour or on streaming services.
When it was finally time for Bebe Rexha to take the stage, the lights dimmed and the large LED screen in the back of the stage played a variety of visuals of Bebe, ending with a large display that said “BEBE REXHA BEST F*N NIGHT OF MY LIFE” before the silhouette of the star was seen walking onto the stage. When the lights came up, the audience projected a deafening scream throughout the venue. Bebe was sporting a gold sequined outfit with an incredible foiled jacket to match. All I can say is can I PLEASE raid her closet because I was instantly obsessed with her outfit! She opened up her set with “I’m Not High, I’m In Love”, and both her and her backup dancers were already putting their all into it. She also joked at the beginning of the show and said to fans, “No phones at my head tonight please.” It was great to see that she had a good sense of humor about it - taking lemons and making lemonade.
Throughout her set she played a ton of familiar hits such as “I’m a Mess”, “Call on Me”, and “In the Name of Love”, all the while delivering powerful vocals with an incredible tone. When it was time for “Hey Mama”, she brought fans up on stage for a dance competition, which was really wholesome to see how excited this made everyone. After performing “Meant to Be”, she briefly walked offstage before appearing again to perform the highly anticipated track “I’m Good (Blue)”. Truthfully her set felt like it flew by from how much fun it was. My legs are definitely feeling the burn from all that dancing! There’s still a couple of dates left on this tour, so if you’re looking to have the “best f*n night of your life”, don’t sleep on this one!
