LA FUGA AT KAFE ANTZOKIA IN BILBAO
After 98 shows, La Fuga gave their last concert of the tour in Bilbao, and as expected, it was a sold out show. There was more than 2 hours of rock music, that did not disappoint anyone. More than 2 decades on the road cannot be resumed on a single show, but the band did a great job. They performed “En Vela”, “Camarote”, “Humo y Cristales”, all of the well-known hymns, and even a little part of “Afraid to shoot Strangers” from Iron Maiden.
There has been a lot of style changes during these last years, with singles like “No solo respirar”, which reminds us clearly of the Mexican band, Mana; but the rock core is too strong on the band, and the rest of the concert went that way.
For the finale they had played “Txus” from La Polla Records, and the iconic “Paqui Palla” to get the crowd crazy. It was a great ending to a very special night, and it is clear that La Fuga will have more of these nights in the future.
