TAKING BACK SUNDAY AT ARLINGTON BACKYARD LIVE IN ARLINGTON

It has always been a dream of mine to shoot Taking Back Sunday live, and I cried my little emo heart out inside getting to do so. They were playing at the Arlington Backyard venue while there was also a Ranger’s game going on across the street, and if you know Texas Rangers’ fans you know how crazy it is that Taking Back Sunday almost had a sold-out venue. The crowd was getting anxious waiting for them to come on, and I saw just about every age range there. Everyone was excited to see them tour for their 20th anniversary and, man, did they come out swinging for the seats. They played just about every classic you can think of such as “MakeDamnSure”, “Cute Without the E”, and “Liar( it takes one to know one)”. They also played songs from every part of their discography from “Where You Want to Be” to “Louder Now” to “Tell All Your Friends”. Every single person in the venue was singing their hearts out, enjoying a flash from the past (me included). All in all, they showed up and showed out, and had everyone both simultaneously happy and sad at the same time. We all know it’s never just a phase, it’s a lifestyle.
